Real Slide

Qe pasa! It’s slippery in Madrid and Real Madrid is taking part in the sliding.  Last year Madrid won the La Liga (Spanish top division title). It came as a surprise to many because Barcelona has been dominant over the years and also it has the best player in the globe, Leo Messi.  Real Madrid deserved to win last season because they figured out how to deal with Barcelona.
Real Madrid has some of the finest football players in the world just to name a few, Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Pepe, Mesut Ozil etc.  So far this season, it looks like these players’ names scare no one else but Barcelona.  In La Liga, Real Madrid stands in third place, sixteen points behind Barcelona. Terrible!! At the beginning of the season Real beat Barcelona and you would have assumed a number of things.
First you would have assumed Real would beat every single team in La Liga, but so far they have been disappointing. Second, you would have assumed that Cristiano Ronaldo would be having a more lackluster season than Messi, but that’s not happening.  So far Messi has been scoring goals making it look as if the goalkeepers need to be fired! Third, you would have assumed that the Special one would be cozy, sitting back and relaxing without worrying about his future in Spain, his agent better get busier. Last you would have assumed that La Liga is a Barcelona-Real Madrid affair only, but apparently Real Madrid can’t click hence La Liga is only a Barcelona territory.
Real Madrid might be sliding in the La Liga but cruising in the UEFA Champions League which is the trophy Madrid hasn’t won in a long time. Unless Barcelona loses at least four games, Real Madrid would have to forget about the domestic title and focus on the UEFA Champions League and the King’s Cup. Real might as well forego the domestic title because Barcelona is hot like a hell furnace.
This Real slide could work for Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid’s coach, and aid in proving for sure he’s the ‘special one’ whom every wealthy club wants to sign.  Basically the club has what it takes to turn things around and here is how. Beat Barcelona on both league games, get accustomed to winning and hope Barcelona loses to another team soon and ruin their momentum.  So far it’s a really slippery slide for Real Madrid and it can get worse and make La Liga ‘boring’ since Barcelona would be the only team to watch.

Been a while

For the first time in a long time and in many games, Arsenal has played with a big heart. Today against West Brom all players seem to be on a special mission, that is to play with urgency. Every player looked sharp from defense, midfield all the way to the attacking. Some few miscues made players a little agitated for instance Gibbs wasn't happy with Gervinho missing a few good chances. That shows the spirit of competitiveness as well as readiness to win!

If you watched the game you know that I am not just rooting for Arsenal, I am telling nothing but the truth. The two penalty kicks can back me up. They were fair and even West Brom knows. Hopefully Arsenal keeps up the great spirit, urgency, sharpness and eyes for the top prize.

The recent poor performance had kept me on mute but now I can speak proudly after watching them play with big heart today.  Hopefully I can stay non-mute for as long as the season lasts. All in all, great game today and as always I am still a proud gunner!

The Only Choice

Hello fans! Heads up! Arsenal gets onto the field and delivers. You better take the results, since it's the only choice you have. You have to be smart to root for Arsenal FC. Learn to watch the games keenly and pick out the nicks that you can shut other rival fans with, for example: Man U, City, Tottenham and Chelsea are Arsenal 'A' team, Wenger is always calm for the future is bright, you've got trophies while Arsenal's got $$$$$...... and so on.

Lets not mention how the gunners have done in the last couple of games against big teams in the EPL. It's heartbreaking to talk about the sale of key players at their prime, unnecessary losses against Man U, Chelsea, and some other teams. Things seem to get worse with Arsenal FC as the season progress, Theo Walcot contract saga, game tomorrow against a tough Tottenham FC side. When will it get better for the Arsenal fans to say, "my team Arsenal is better than yours" As you know, fans love bragging rights on the awards won but not players developed, everyone develops players.

The crash against Tottenham is not different from the last key games against Man U and Chelsea. However, the gunners can bring the difference by standing out and playing with hunger and urgency for a victory! It won't be easy for Arsenal because of several reasons about Tottenham FC.

First the Hams have a lethal striker, Jermain Defoe. This is the guy once Arsenal showed interest in and I am not sure why they didn't get him. Defoe is a natural finisher, goals know him and are attracted to him. Can you imagine Carzola serving an experienced striker like Defoe with tremendous key passes? Second the Hams added two key players, the two former Fulham stars, the lethal Ds (Dembele and Dempsy). These two additions were a big boost to the Hams. Third the Hams have been tested already by powerhouses like Man U and Man City. Fourth, two former Arsenal stars now plays for the Hams and the two might try to prove Arsenal wrong for letting them go. All the above makes Tottenam well prepared for the unpredictable Gunners! Lastly, not to mention the Hams play quite physical and this might put Arsenal off!

Let me see if I can come up with factors leading to a victory for Arsenal FC tomorrow. First, good defenders like Varmaelen, Koscielny, Sagna and Gibbs. Second, improved Theo Walcott, hungry Giroud and highly rated Jack Wilshere. Third, strong fans who always stand with the team no matter what! Lastly, a manager who makes players' dreams of playing for the BIG teams come true. Arsene Wenger loves to see players grow both on and off the field. He loves them so much such that he lets them go whenever they want more money and trophies that Arsenal cares less about!! The factors mentioned above only becomes a success when Arsenal wants. Poor fans, just lose your sleep in the morning and hope it will be worthy it after 90+ mins!

Once again I will kick my blanket off me, turn on the TV and cheer Arsenal take on the Hams. May the best team win and hopefully Arsenal chooses to be that team! Besides Arsenal vs Tottenham derby another big game this weekend is Newcastle vs Swansea City.

Hey gunners fans, please embrace whatever Arsenal FC gives you! That's the only choice you have!!

Stamina

Despite injuries on some key players, Arsenal can still continue to win matches. This is because some of the players that used to be youngsters are now more experienced. Remember when we used to say Theo, Szecny, Jack and Ramsey will have a bright future? The future is here now! These players are well experienced and capable of steering Arsenal into greatness.

In the last few matches Arsenal has lacked sharpness and aggressiveness. It could have done better against Man U but concentration was low and Arsenal recorded two shots on goal. The two shots came at the end of the game in which one of them was the consolation goal. Had they been sharp, shot more and aggressive, the fans would be happier awaiting the match this weekend . Arsenal started really well against Schalke FC in the UEFA champions league but faded away as the game progressed. That's unlike Arsenal! However, it's a good feeling for the gunners' fans to know that Barcelona lost to Celtic while Man City tied and lies bottom in the group.

Fulham FC no doubts it's ready to play Arsenal at the Emirates. Arsenal has been good at home which would make the opponent readier.  At this moment it would be good to get a win against Fulham FC. Lately turmoil incidences have invaded Arsenal. First, Santos accepting RVP's jersey at halftime-Arsenal has put price tag on him. Second Jack called up by the England national coach, few days after returning from a long term injury. Third, Arsenal lies seventh on the league. Fans couldn't ask for more than three points this weekend.

Some other big games to watch this weekend: Chelsea FC vs Liverpool FC, Man City vs Tottenham, and Everton vs Sunderland. It would make Arsenal happier if they win and teams like Liverpool, Tottenham and Sunderland win too, but it has to start with Arsenal pounding Fulham FC at the emirates!

Arsenal needs to show STAMINA in defending, goalkeeping, and attacking. It takes goals to win a match so I hope Arsenal can shoot and not just posses the ball more than Fulham F.C. Possessing the ball and not shooting is like walking around in the market without spending a cent while holding a basket, money and shopping list in the pocket.

Last weekend I didnt sleep in so that I could support Arsenal crash Man U but the devil turned out to be too possessed. Hopefully this weekend it pays off to wake up and see Arsenal trample Fulham FC!

Lets go Gunners, Gun 'em down!!!

The Devils Prevailed

During the weekend I normally sleep in but today I didn't. I woke up early to support my favorite soccer club, Arsenal FC.  Man U beat nervous Arsenal by two goals to one. It was pathetic because Arsenal didnt show the urgency and sharpness. Also they lacked concentration.

Even though Man U won the game, they played less presentable but you can understand age is creeping in on their players. For example Carrick, Rio and RVP.  One Devil had a good day, Fergie! Today he didnt have walk much on the sideline because his club was getting the job done.

A few reasons why Arsenal lost. Some players were not quite ready to play. Podolski is a quality player but he didn't look comfortable at all. He made many errors and lost the ball quite often. He didn't take a single shot and if you ask Oxy, he would say Podolski has the best shots. Jack Wilshere is another player who seemed a little lost and eventually was sent off. He couldn't keep possession and seemed a little over confident or maybe call it indecisive with the ball. The Arsenal forward took two shots only in the entire game.  It might look effective because they scored one goal in 2 shots. "You don't score if you don't shoot." Shoot more for a higher chance of scoring more goals. Hopefully Arsenal will learn and create more shooting opportunities next game.

Here is quick enlightenment. Arsenal FC is a profit-oriented club, while Man U is a glory-oriented club.  Arsenal makes most profit by developing players and selling them at their prime. Man U develops players and uses them to win trophies before selling them in "out of order" state. In this case the Man U fans are WINNING over the Arsenal fans who keep waiting for the bright future yet to come.  Fans love it when a club lasts long, but they wouldn't mind some bragging rights on their club's glory.  As an Arsenal fan you know better not to argue about trophies with Man U and Chelsea fans.

"Every cloud has a silver lining." You can claim Arsenal has better things to come in the near future. It's not easy to settle down and fit in the premier league and you can tell players like Podolski, Giroud and Pete face surprises every weekend. I hope they settle down quickly because the clock is ticking and when it stops the season will be gone.

In today's clash Man U and its fans won but Arsenal and its fans were left mourning. No doubt Arsenal fans are wondering what it will take for things to turn around. Even though Arsenal has won 2 of their last 4 games, its players haven't really showed up to play.  In the EPL a club rarely survives on luck so Arsenal better burn the blankets and stop sleeping on the field.

I hate to admit Arsenal lost but its the truth of the matter.  Sometimes it's hard to take the truth especially if you are an Arsenal fan.  I failed to sleep in, Gunners lost, Man U and Chelsea fans all over me. Today can't get any worse! I will have to wait and see if Real Madrid will make my weekend as it plays against Zaragoza. Gotta stay positive and look for refuge somewhere else until next weekend, fresh EPL games!!!!

Bloody Duel

The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United has been going on since 1894 when these two teams first played against each other. Man U has won the most, 90 wins to Arsenal's 78, the two teams have tied 46 times.  Obviously the devils have the lead and they have prospered over the Gunners in the recent years.

The rivalry is renewed tomorrow as the two teams meet at Emirates Stadium, home for Arsenal FC. So far this season Man U is doing better than Arsenal with the help of a former gunner. Robin Van Persie left Arsenal in the summer for greener pastures at Man U. He has been key in Man U's past few wins. Basically, one can claim he was the "missing Devil"! He will be a big factor in the game tomorrow.

In the most recent 2 games against different opponents, Arsenal won both while Man U won one. Arsenal seems to have the edge after beating 10-man QPR and Reading FC. Arsenal had their best comeback this season in an inferior encounter against Reading FC. Quick recap on the amazing comeback, Arsenal came from 4 goals down, scored 3 more, and won the game 7 to 5 in extra time.

It took some questionable calls by the referee for Man U to beat Chelsea, last weekend. In the midweek Carling Cup match, Man U lost to Chelsea in extra time, however Man U played most of their reserve players unlike Chelsea who used most of the main team players.

In midweek Carling Cup matches, both Arsenal and Man U played their reserve players in preparation for the clash of the titans tomorrow. Earlier I mentioned Robin Van Persie being a major factor. However he might have a hard time playing against Arsenal at home. It will be weird for him and he might feel like in hell with the fans jeering at him. If R.V.P goes cold, Man U will either settle for a tie or a loss.

Arsenal needs this game more than Man U, because Arsenal is trailing Man U by six points.  The Devils would love the three points to lead #1 Chelsea.  A boost for Arsenal is improved performance by some key players. Theo Walcott scored a hat trick against Reading FC over the week and he can keep the fire burning tomorrow against Man U. Arguably, he's the fastest player in the premier league. Giroud had a good game against Reading FC and he is still on the verge of establishing his command in the premiership.  King Santi Carzola needs to have his best game ever in the midfield.  Arsenal's defense has a huge task of stopping Van Persie, former teammate last season.  Playing at home is a another big boost for Arsenal and actually the fans might kindly give Van Persie a hot hell at the Emirates Stadium.

My predictions would be for an Arsenal win but Man U is too good at the moment for an injury-plagued Arsenal, so I'm not placing my little money on them. Arsenal will win the game if they defend well while Man U can win it if Van Persie has a good game. Go GUNNERS! Who wants the devil anyways!?!

I know other teams in the EPL are playing but who cares when a battle like this ON!?! :) Don't hate me because next week I might analyze all the weekend games' results.

Only if you care about this, my friend's Eckerd College won against #4 Lynn University, NCAA III soccer.

To be a Gunner!

Yes you support Arsenal F.C! Duh! However it takes quite a lot to be an Arsenal supporter. The fans can’t control the running of the club, so they have to bear with whatever the management comes up with. Arsenal is one of the top clubs in England and Europe in general. It has a rich history but winning trophies stopped 8 years ago, a haunting halt!
The last time Arsenal won a trophy was 2003-2004 season and since then Arsenal has only come close. In 2006 Arsenal lost in the U.E.F.A Champions league final against Barcelona FC from Spain. During then Barcelona had the mighty Ronaldinho from Brazil, Eto’o from Cameroon and other big Spaniards like Xavi, Iniesta e.t.c.  It was a really good game but due to a red card against Arsenal, Arsenal had to compensate and their chance of beating Barcelona were trimmed. Arsenal lost 2-1! Last year, 2011, Arsenal lost in the Carling Cup final against Birmingham City. Even though Carling Cup is the least superior trophy in England, Arsenal fans would have appreciated it big time, and it would have ended the trophy drought for the club.  The above two instances are the latest times Arsenal came close to winning a silverware.
Fans’ big share to a team is when trophies are won, especially big trophies. Unfortunately Manchester United, Chelsea and Man city fans have been bathing in the waters of trophy and glory, especially Man United. The only thing Arsenal fans can be proud of is the fact that Arsenal has been helping those clubs by selling big players to them. Some of the big names Arsenal has produced for these teams are Nasri, Kolo Toure, Clichy, Fabregas, and Robin Van Persie, the most recent to Man U. Most fans love when a club makes great players and wins award with him but not sell him right away. However Arsenal doesn't pay lots like these clubs do, so that’s why most of them have left Arsenal. Don’t call them traitors because they have personal goals and have other fans to please. After all they are not getting younger and they feel lucky to have made it to their prime and wouldn't mind to make more money and win awards.
Man U has been the Yankees of the British football but the role has been taken over by Man City who has been spending big and it has paid off.  Man City has won the English Premier League and FA cup in two years. Arsenal has won none because it sold its players to Man City and other big clubs willing to risk and pay hefty salaries for glory.
As maybe you've noticed, I have been talking about others club more and briefly mentioning Arsenal. That’s part of what it is to be an Arsenal FC fan. You blame other clubs for being greedy but you can also call it going BIG or taking big risks. As an Arsenal fan you don’t get what you want from Arsenal, but you take what Arsenal gives you. One thing an Arsenal fan can brag about is Arsenal’s SEXY style. Arsenal is entertaining, more than other big clubs in England. However some clubs like Chelsea, Swansea City have been adapting to the “sexy” style of playing so it’s about time Arsenal does something different before fans run out of patience.
Always entertaining as usual, Arsenal came back from 4 goals down to beat Reading FC 7 goals to 5 goals, today in Carling Cup. It was a nerve wrecking game but luckily Arsenal came back after a dismal performance in the first half. If you are considering becoming an Arsenal fan, please do some research, test how strong you are or consult with me at no cost.
I am a Gunner for life! GO ARSENAL! But please save fans from anguish, heart attack and crazy Man U, Chelsea and City fans!

Turn the Tables!

3 losses in a row! 2 epl games and 1 UEFA game. In those 3 loses, the gunners have lacked the urgency and hunger for goals. It's about time Arsenal discovers their superior touch and show their worth. The coaches, players and fans should all be ready this weekend for the rejuvenated Arsenal trying to make amends.  QPR wont be an easy challenge though.

QPR has had a poor start of the season but you cant overlook the talent and experience they have. Taarabt has had a good season and seems like a very promising youngster. I wonder how long he will stay at QPR. Shawn, Cisse, Onuoha, Hoilet etc could be a problem to the gunners.

Key obstacles that gives QPR the edge are Oxy uncertain to play, Gibbs out, fatigue from Schalke's defeat, maybe rusty Sagna, Wilshere and Pong. On the brighter side Arsenal players are very ready and positive despite tough couple of weeks invaded by losses, race issues and European football. By the way, football should unite us no matter the results on the field. You cannot win, lose or tie everyday. Don't hate the opponent because of the results.  If you think black and white is different, check out the color of your blood and bones. WE'RE ALL THE SAME. RESPECT FOR ALL!! We breathe the same Oxygen and speak the same language, Football is our language!

Sometimes a day, a week, or any moment can change the game. That's only a temporary game changer, but not the player himself. "You don't lose quality in a week," Varmaelen. Such a statement leaves no doubt he deserves the captaincy. Yeah Vermboy! Lead the gang to the peak tomorrow!

Arsenal vs QPR is one of the weekend's game that you don't wanna miss! Once again I'll put my little money on Arsenal, hopefully I don't get broke! Go gunners!!

Back in Action

EPL continues this weekend and I don't expect less from Arsenal after their players had good spells with the national teams. I was so impressed with Giroud because he proved his potential in few minutes. Giroud came  onto the match against France and within 10 minutes he scored, France tied Spain 1 to 1. Ox too had a brilliant goal and hopefully he performs well this weekend.

It won't be an easy game at Norwich City but Arsenal is well equipped to take all the three points.  Hopefully the coach puts on players who are ready to win. Luckily, the defence should be back stronger because the solid tower (Pete) is back from injury and had a goal against Sweden. Hopefully Gervinho had a rest and is ready to continue his good spell so far.

So long the defence stays strong, Santi and Arteta will do their job and own the midfield.  Giroud's confidence might be a big factor in this game against Norwich City. I will not be surprised if he starts and plays the whole game.  Jack might get some minutes but I won't bank on him to do much. Probably Sagna might play too. Sadly, Theo is out with an injury. Huge setback because he had a good super-sub role going.

I don't have much money, but the little I have is worth putting on Arsenal to win it. Pete, Gervinho and Varm could get me precious premier league fantasy points if they do well.  By the way, congrats to Arsenal for winning the club of the year 2012 award. Hopefully the players can reflect that on the field and strike a silverware this season.

On to the things that don't matter so much. I am back to blogging after taking time off settling down at my new job. God is good and my hard work paid off! Tottenham vs Chelsea is another game to watch tomorrow and hopefully Totten wins.

Another One!

Arsenal stood a very tough challenge against the defending champions last weekend. Either team could have won the game but ended up tying after several miscues. Almost every fan, except City's, would say the game belonged to Arsenal. Tomorrow Chelsea poses a challenge as good as City and hopefully Arsenal is ready to take the three points.

Chelsea is a solid team defensively and in midfield but their forward sector isn't a menace to Arsenal, so most likely Arsenal will get another clean sheet in the defense. The good news is that Double-D is gone! Drogba was quite a threat to Arsenal and there was no defender who could stop him. Torres is still struggling to find his finishing touch and hopefully he doesn't find it tomorrow against the gunners. Hazard wont be a big problem to the solid Arsenal defense, Vermaelen is back anyways so bring it on Eden!!!

Arsenal's formula for winning is not delicate. Gervinho is very hardworking and gets the most chances but unfortunately he doesn't finish most of them. Giroud finally got his first goal for Arsenal and it was a clinical one.  Podo and Santi understand their roles on the team and seem to have embraced that. Here is the formula, Gervinho finish your chance, please, come on!! Giroud now you are officially an Arsenal scorer, keep it warm or hot, whichever you choose. Podo and King Santi, the sirs, wow the fans!! Diaby, own the midfield and keep stepping long.

In conclusion, GO GUNNERS!!

Hot City

Arsenal will take all the ammunition to the Etihad stadium and take on Man City by the horns! It will be a tough game for Arsenal under a harsh crowd and a good team, defending EPL champion. A few things will help Arsenal prevail in getting a point, if not points.

Arsenal's defense has been strong since the beginning of this season but it needs to be stronger because Man City will attack with a hurricane force.  The goalkeeper better not sleep a tiny bit, because Dzeko, Tevez and  Yaya are always firing. Diaby has had a good campaign so far and this would be the opportunity to show for sure he's back!!! Carzola, Arteta, and Gervinho should take care of the midfield better than they always do.

It will take goals to win so Podo, Giroud and Santi should prepare their shots and calmly take down the shaky City defense. I hope Wenger doesn't have to throw a bottle or his coat at anyone or anything. If Arsenal score 2 goals, they will win the game!

This is a true test for Arsenal and hopefully they are ready for it. Jack is Back! Hopefully he's ready to play the best way he knows. I hope Arsenal plays big and make City spend even more looking for "better" players. GO GUNNERS!!

It's Baaaack!

EPL took a break for the international football and some of us had a dull previous weekend. The EPL battle continues this weekend and Arsenal will square off against Southampton who has managed not a single point. You might get tempted to say Arsenal will have a walkover but not so soon until it happens.

Southampton is one of the three teams that got promoted this season and they are on fire to prove a point. In their last match, Southampton gave Man U a true run for their money and the former Arsenal striker came to the rescue. He's gone from Arsenal so lets not mention the name :) Anyways Man U can tell Arsenal what to expect from Southampton but Arsenal need not to worry because of several reasons.

First, Arsenal's defense has been magnificent and is yet to allow a goal. Southampton has a hard nut to crack, they might need a nut cracker to do so. Secondly, the trio of Santi, Podo, and Gir has quickly adapted to the English football which is only for real men. Both Santi and Podo have scored their first goal and Gir have come close but hopefully this weekend he will be closer, score his first.  Lastly, Arsenal is still playing their usual free flowing football. Southampton better bring a detector to find the ball while still on the field or they'll retrieve it from inside the net :)

Arsenal is well rested after the break and I hope is ready to bring more fun to their royal and enduring fans. It's not easy being an Arsenal fan, however it's respectable because you substitute trophy-money for money via sale of the best. Viva Arsenal!! Entertain the new boys whom you have got some best players from!! Theo and Oxy, you're Gunners and no longer Saints!!

Sunday at the Emirates! Don't drink and watch football, you might break something!

What really matters!

In the beautiful game of futbol one thing matters more than anything else you can do with the ball. In case you haven't noticed, many people can kick the ball: whether non-futbolers, amateurs or professionals. Almost anybody can mess around with the ball and have fun but you gotta have PURPOSEFUL HEART to succeed in futbol and also in life!

The moment one steps on the pitch, their heart has to be awake and realize the purpose of playing futbol. Whenever a players goes out for a run the heart has to be ready to work on the purpose of playing futbol. Every time a player gets into the gym, the heart has to be available and make every lift, curl, squat, and raise count! If you don't have the heart for futbol (life too) everything you do shows the difference from those with the heart for futbol!

To all futbol players. Anyone can mess around with the ball but the successful ones play, practice and live with a purposeful heart. In futbol three people benefit, God, the Fans and the Player. If your heart isn't ready to accommodate these people, then try something else or get real and play with a purposeful heart. Obviously God gave you the talent so it's worth to glorify him with your futbol. The fans help evaluate a player. When they jeer, something needs work but if they cheer something is going on well. The player gets peace of mind when they give their best whether on the field or on the bench.

A true futbol-er needs a purposeful heart to cater for God, the fans and himself! Next time you play futbol don't just take your cleats to the field but also your PURPOSEFUL HEART!

Poor boy!

One of the best players in the world is sad at one of the most popular clubs in the globe. Cristiano Ronaldo is sad for professional reasons. What could these reasons be? This is a good sign that even the amazing stars are human and they get sad at times even though it's hard to understand.

One might wonder what would cause sadness to a player who plays Real Madrid, a regular, adored by fans, cherished by the globe and the most expensive football player. Where is the sadness coming from? Sometimes this is how it starts and before you know it a player leaves current club to another one for more money.

I'm a Real Madrid fan and it's fun to watch CR #7 play with the team. I hope all gets fixed and CR stays at Madrid. There are some teams out there waiting to splash money and attract CR, for instance Man City, PSG, FC Anzi Makhachkala etc. In case he badly wants to move, I have a really good suggestion. He can make Arsenal make history by splashing money on a single player. He would enjoy being in the company of one of the best managers in the world, with unique leadership abilities.

CR please get happy when you score a goal because not many can score as easy as you do, ask Torres. Besides scoring on the field, you make it big off the field unlike many just wishing and hoping. It might be sad right now but when you score live the moment!

The more you get sad and maybe have hidden motives, Messi will be raking more points, enjoying himself and entertaining fans. So it's about time you get everything right and put up with the Messy competition. The race for the Player Of the Year is so tight, so stop getting sadder and perform!!!

'Bout Time Gunners!

Two ties to begin the season! Not bad! Better than losing! A trip to Anfield this weekend on Sunday will officially mark the beginning of the season, no disrespect to Sunderland and Stoke City. The season is still young but everyone wants to know what Arsenal is made of and how ready the club is this season.

Arsenal has what it takes to perform great against big times. Great manager, quality young and experienced players and also awesome fans like me :) Liverpool will expose Arsenal, either show how hard they are to beat or easy to beat. It's a re-modeled Liverpool yearning for redemption after few years of poor performances.

I hope Arsenal has their guns cocked, warmed up and ready to fire hot bullets, because Liverpool and their crazy passionate fans ("YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE") will be ready for a show at Anfield. Vamos Gunners!!! I'm going on vacation and please Arsenal don't make me bend the rules for nothing, get some goals!! Gotta score to Win!  In conclusion, if Arsenal doesn't score a goal (s), Liverpool will win the game!

Proper Job Waiting!

1. Blog. Start a blog about something you are passionate about. It's fun, improves creativity, keeps you busy, improves writing and proof reading skills. It also helps enhance marketing and selling skills. The previous skills are acquired as you try to make many people see and read your blog.

My blog is 80% about soccer, precisely my favorite soccer club, Arsenal FC from London England.

2. Volunteer. Lend a hand in your areas of interest and passion. Following your passion makes it fun and easy to strive for excellence. It's good to give back to any community,"A child is raised by the village." Volunteering helps with networking and confidence interacting with people, helps make friends from strangers.

Soccer is my passion and over the summer I was privileged to coach two different young teams.

3. Working out.  Exercising is very key in mind and body strength. Creative workouts make exercising more interesting and you can learn new tactics and morals. Creative workouts also help break the monotony of frequenting the gym or fitness centers.

I would workout in the house, in the woods and backyard playground. Afterwards I would be tired enough to just replenish my body and apply for jobs.

4. Comedy. Nothing beats a laughter at the end of the day, especially a hard day. You can watch a hilarious movie, stand up comedians or just meet up with friends and have fun cracking jokes like nuts. It helps to relieve stress and covers up the fact that you badly need a good job to kick start into the future.  No matter what you're going through, nothing beats a big smile on the face. Laugh Out Loud without faking it.

Funny movies such as,Think Like A man..., Laugh at My life..., and stand ups got me going every evening. Just be Happy after hard work looking for a job.

5. Job Fairs. This is a golden opportunity for networking especially with the immediate employers of the potential companies.  Never let any free job fair pass you by, however never pay what you don't have for a job fair unless it's extremely worth it. The job fairs boost your confidence and you learn more about different companies. Learn what companies like about their employees so that you can give it right back at them when you apply for a job.  Learn how to sell yourself!

The job fairs are like a recipe before you get into the kitchen, so life gets easier.

6. Recreational activities. Sports are most fun while young, so don't let your youth get to waste. TV remotes and movies are helpful while tired especially in the evening, but not during the day when the sun is yearning for you get some tan. Text, tweet, facebook, instagram, or Tumblr your friends about playing ball or biking or kayaking or golfing or soccer or flag football, before the darkness sends the daytime away.

Live life and make the most of your youth as you prepare your body mentally and physically for that job.

7. Work. Get a part time/full time job either  in or outside your area of interest. This would help to keep your savings account healthy and make sure you have some money to spend on getting the job of your dreams. It costs money to get a job so be prepared.  You're not making much so spend wisely!!

8. PRAY. Nothing is guaranteed in this life so as you work hard, patiently waiting and highly hoping for a job, make sure you pray. Prayer is the key piece of the puzzle in finding the job of your dreams.

I have applied all the above and for sure I have been learning a lot about life not just jobs and different employers.  Suggest something else I can do and maybe you might help someone else who reads this blog. Asante!

EPL Sunday's main Action!

Arsenal did well against Sunderland but could have done better to get the 3 points. This weekend's game will be the same as the previous one against Sunderland. Playing Stoke City on their home field won't be easy for Arsenal to get all three points. After a decent showcase by the new trio-Carzola, Giroud and Podo-the level of confidence is high and Arsenal might strike the 3 points. Carzola was outstanding against Sunderland and don't expect less against Stoke City.

The main challenge against Stoke will be dealing with the tower-like players, for instance Peter Crouch. Arsenal will have to keep their game on the floor as much as possible because they lack height, which Stoke has in abundance. If Arsenal moves the ball well, the twelfth man (Stoke Spectators) will be subdued. I would put my money on Giroud and Gervinho scoring tomorrow.

The match against Stoke city will be a real sweat for either team to get the three points. Nothing will come on a silver platter for either team. Arsenal's bullets better be hot tomorrow because Stoke will be stoked for a stunner at Britannia Stadium. Most likely Arsenal will get a penalty kick tomorrow and Podo will put it a away! (fingers crossed)

I hope the fans in attendance will enjoy the Britannia biscuits, but unfortunately for one team the Britannia biscuits will be sour! Go Gunners!!

Arsenal done with Music

One of the key midfielders from last season is gone to one the best clubs in the world. In order to leave, all he said was that he wanted to leave. I don't know how much the Manager did to keep him. By the way I am talking about Alex Song leaving Arsenal for Barcelona, in case you are confused. I am confused too why Arsenal let him go, so probably this article may not make much sense.

Last season, the star from Cameroon was the cornerstone of Arsenal's midfield. With slick passes, humble footwork and great work ethic, he harmonized Arsenal's defence with the offence. He gets more credit for the assists that made Robin Van Persie 2011\2012 Golden Boot winner. In my mind (and I believe also other gunner fans) I never saw Song leaving Arsenal so soon. Barcelona must be lucky and ought to respect Arsenal big time! First it was Thierry Henry, next followed Fabregas and recently Song has taken his music to Camp Nou. Who else is Barcelona admiring at Arsenal?

Almost a decade ago Arsenal used to be a superpower in soccer, especially in England. Those days are gone and now Arsenal seems to be tired of being the best and instead selling their best players and making other clubs the best. First it was Barcelona, Man City dropped coins and did an overhaul on Arsenal (Nasri, Clichy and Kolo Toure), Man United couldn't just watch so they snatched one (RVP).

Arsenal is known for nurturing young talent and making superstars. Examples, Henry, Theo, Van Persie, Cesc ,Viera etc.  It's mind boggling when in most cases Arsenal doesn't leap much from some of its finest superstars. I might be wrong but it seems like Arsenal is on a mission to make and sell hence making other teams better than her. Oh well! Arsenal still qualifies for the Champions League and I guess that's enough for the club.  As a fan it's tough and rough to be an Arsenal fan, especially the last five years, but who said it's easy to be loyal?

Song is gone hence no more music at Arsenal until Arsenal buds another Song and keep him as long as he can sing and dance. Forever a Gunner!!

Gunners 4 Life!!

The EPL kicks off tomorrow so better take your vuvuzela out and blow it hard till you lose breath. My favorite team kicks off the season against a respectable Sunderland FC. I hope Arsenal does well and actually I am convinced will win due to several reasons.

Arsenal ended last season with a great momentum despite missing some key players due to injuries. Diaby wasn't healthy most of last season but now he's ready to go. Diaby could play a key role this season. Even though Van Persie is gone to them (Man Who), it shouldn't be a big deal because at the end of last season his performance was dwindling and the other players rose up to the occasion. Persie is a great player but his departure was anticipated and well covered with the introduction of Podolski, Giroud and Carzola. The trio could easily score as many goals as Van Persie and actually two of them have the potential to be EPL's top scorer.

Arsenal as team looks complete and I don't see why other teams shouldn't be shaken starting with Sunderland. Sunderland is a good side with both experience and skills so Arsenal should expect a really good fight. Besides the trio mentioned above, other potential scorers are Varmelene, Arteta, Ramsey and Gervinho. Song's got the midfield well covered. Arsenal better keep Song!! Barca better dream of someone else outside Arsenal.

Good luck Van Persie but I hope Arsenal tramples Man U every time they meet. Also, I hope Arsenal wins a silverware before Man U, especially this season. I am sure Arsenal has the magazines full, guns cocked and ready to rollover Sunderland!! Lets go GUNNERS!!!

Olypmics done, new fun arises!

Glory days of sheer efforts, sweaty hours, seconds and days for the Olympics athletes are gone, and now they can enjoy their achievements. However that's not the end of having fun for the fans! Guess what's starting next weekend? English Premier League!!!!!!!! Have you checked your team's jersey, new signings, schedule etc.

I have been following my favorite club, ARSENAL FC, and I am impressed with most their activities except rumor on A.Song moving out to Barca. I hope he stays home and keeps on making the rivals face the music courtesy of Arsenal Fc, choir master, Alex Song!

I will be blogging a ton about Arsenal this season so check my blog every now and then for futbol fun! Expect Arsenal wonders this year! It's gonna be a good year for Arsenal! Can you imagine, Podolski, Van Persie, Carzola, Walcott and Giroud, all scoring in the same game or interchangeably? Looking forward for a good year!

WENGER, PLEASE DO YOUR JOB EXCELLENTLY THIS YEAR!!! THANK YOU!

Shout out to Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Marseilles when your season begin!!

More on Arsenal coming up, very soon!!

Olympics Hurricane!

At first it used to be just all about BOLT bolting on the tracks, then it started being about Non-Bolting Bolt because of Blake, but now we can talk about a budding bolt, bronze medalist in 200m, Warren Weir!! I wonder how often we can keep talking about the three of them in 200m in the recent future upcoming World meets!

When was the last time Jamaica had a sweep in the 200m Olympics? In the last few years it's been a one man hurricane, the ever-bolting Bolt! 2012 Olympics made it a tri-hurricane sweep orchestrated by Bolt, Blake and Weir!  This might be Bolt's last outstanding Olympics because he isn't getting any younger. However Jamaica can still keep the 100m and 200m crowns at home courtesy of Yohan Blake and Warren Weir!!

800m record was set in 2010 but shuttered into pieces by.10 secs by the same athlete, David Rudisha from Iten Kenya! It was the first world record to be set of the many track and field events in London 12! Prior to the Olympics, David Rudisha was determined to run till legs come off and set a new World record in London. During the 800m qualifiers, he showed the willingness to break his own record. Come the 800m finals, David was up and pounding the tracks hard until he set the new World Record, 1:40:91!! History was made in the eyes of the entire globe!! Way to go Rudisha!! In Swahili "rudisha" means return something to someone, so David did what he does best. He returned a brand new 800m World Record to Kenya! You might want to visit Kenya to see it. :)

Congrats to David Rudisha and I hope Bolt is challenged now to break and set a new World Record in the 4*100. Kenya still have chances of more gold medals in the few remaining short and long distance events!!

David Rudisha, World class Athlete.

The Secret?

Check out alleged reasons why Kenyans have been able to dominate long distance races for quite a long time! It's fun, interesting and captivating. I hope you remember some high school biological terms. Please remember to wish Kenyan athletes well in the Olympics!! http://www.nation.co.ke/Features/DN2/Why+Kenyan+athletes+are+world+beaters/-/957860/1473542/-/item/0/-/10h4bx7/-/index.html

Running Long!

Kenya is famously known for running like Gazelles in long distance races, both men and women. Guess what?! The rest of the world seems to have figured out what it takes to be a great long distance runner like the mighty Kenyans. It's about time Kenyan athletes start running harder and faster before the rest of the world takes over.
Kenya as a country provides what it takes to be a great long distance runner, something most countries lack. The youngsters back in Kenya need to start working harder to maintain the long distance running domination!! Hopefully Kenya rakes a few gold medals in the long distance running despite stiff competition from Ethiopia, Eritrea and a few "the ones that gotta away" in Europe, Middle East and Asia!

Good job by Mo Farah and Rupp but it was sad to see Kenya outside the medal margin! Come on Kenya! Run harder, faster, stronger and with authority in what you do BEST!!

I am an Athlete!!

Another Oly-gic!

Another Olympic magical shot in basketball happened!! Russia took down Brazil but I am not sure if they can stop the star-studded US. These kind of plays and other performances are making the Olympics more magical and showing the climax is here!!

Check out the evidence of the Olympic Magic (Olygic). Start at minute 1:40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XcWIFmW3MU

Olympics!!!!

Comedy Never gets old!

I love to laugh, feel good and for sure you do too. Remember Mr Beans?! One of the most famous British comedians. I had actually stopped watching his works until the Olympics began. Thank you London 2012 Olympics! Funny!!

Mr Beans' comedy never gets old!!! Check the clip below. haha http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/2012/opening-ceremony-mr-bean-rowan-atkinson-plays-chariots-of-fire.html

First Olympic 2012 Miracle?

Yes Miracles have started to happen in the Olympics. You might have seen a half court basket before, but probably not in the Olympics. Unfortunately the Aussies couldn't win the game after getting second chance with 3.3secs of regular time left.

Thanks Aussie for a wow moment and Kudos to the french ladies! I hope the french ladies brought some love with them from the city of love & lights, Paris. Future destination for me!

Here is the clip!! http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/basketball/higlights-miraculous-3-pointer-by-aussies.html

Super Fans take Sweaty hugs

Today the first lady, Michelle Obama hugged the entire US Men's Basketball team after their win against France. In most cases this kind of hugs are taken by ordinary people like your girl/boy friend, parents and teammates. You wouldn't expect the first lady to hug a sweaty athlete right after the game. But Michelle Obama did it! Myself would call it humbleness and selflessness. I don't know what you would call it!!

US Olympic teams have all the support they can get and it's up to them to embrace it and represent their country patriotically. When was the last time a Hollywood celeb gave you a hug despite sweat like you've been rained on?

Big ups to the first lady, Michelle Obama! Most people shake hands with sweaty athletes, but she acknowledged their hard work and went for a hug. Keep showing support and love.

Olympics and African Football

I had the pleasure of watching Senegal play in the Olympics against Uruguay, one of the power house in Latin America futbol. Senegal won the game by 2 to Zero. They played really well and even better, they won the game with 10-men. This team looks really young and it shows that Senegal has a bright future in football.

The Senegalese players looked really fit, comfortable with and confident on the ball. Kudos to their defense that was well composed and handled Suarez and Cavani, Uruguayan football stars, excellently. The Senegal defense took these two guys out of the game thus deserved to win. Bad sign for Liverpool (owns Suarez)!!

Senegal was even dancing on the ball, courtesy on Kanote who seems to have been watching too much Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho! Big ups to him on scoring 2 goals that gave Senegal the victory. After today's performance I would say Senegal is a force to reckon with. Their Goalkeeper was phenomenal too.

Watch out Brazil and Spain, because Senegal wants it as bad as you two do!

Keep enjoying the electric Olympics from swimming, basketball, Gym-nasties, FUTBOL and the list goes on.
Hezzy!

What has been your Olympic surprise so far?

Olympics2012

The Olympics hot already! Interesting too with quite a few doping cases and upsets. Just the beginning and very soon the big guns like Phelps will either rise or keep falling shot to the great upcoming stars like Lotche and company.

Some athletes have already bagged gold medals while others can't wait for their chances, for instance my brothers and sisters from Kenya. They are running long distance so they have to be patient to get to the finishing line. :)

I love how the I.O.C (International Olympic Committee) has acted to the racism claims, like the one by a beautiful blonde athlete from Greece. I mean it when I say beautiful, but her jokes are dirty and hopefully other wanna-be comedians can learn from her scenario.  Big ups to the I.O.C on kicking out some athletes who have used the performance enhancing drugs! If you can win clean, go home with your reputation tarnished!!

My predictions for the most medals are, USA, China and Russia with others like Spain or Brazil, and Kenya among the top ten. Spain and Brazil ranks in my top ten only if one them wins the Football tournament.  Kenya will run long and mid short with patience and diligence till the gold shines at the end of the race!!

Don't forget to watch Blake, Bolt and Gay competition. Isn't it this what the world awaits?

What's your prediction for the top 3 countries?

The Olympics Football 2012

This is a good opportunity for countries to show their future national teams. Spain & Brazil are some of the favorites to win it all! After analyzing Brazilian Olympic football team and watch them play too, you might think other teams have no chance at all. Spain, current Euro and World cup champs are expected to maybe dominate London with their sexy or boring, (depending on where you are from) style of play. Brazil the Samba boys will dance probably all the way to the finals while expect Spain to knock it around until you wonder why you didn't watch the game at home.

Spain despite the high expectations lost to Japan by a lone goal. Red card not an excuse at all because it came after the goal had been scored and Spain had enough time to come back, but in vain. It is not a good start but as a good team that everyone wants to beat, Spain ought to prepare for a rough ride onward. Whoever they play next, Spain better not drop points. Many teams are prepared for this tournament. In the history of the Olympics, the underdogs have been favored. Nigeria 08 runners up, Paraguay 08 runners up, Cameroon 00, Nigeria 96, Soviet Union 88, Czech 80 etc.

The 2012 Olympics is full of underdogs and the powerhouse teams are the minorities. Some of the underdogs that might cause upsets are, Morocco, Senegal, Switzerland, Japan and Korea. These underdogs are driven by the fact that there are less powerhouse teams and their chance to prosper is increased.  The few powerhouse teams in the tournament are Brazil, Spain and Egypt. Brazil won against Egypt but only the first half by capitalizing from defensive blunders by the Egyptian defenders. The Samba boys are great and might win the tournament, BUT didn't seem to handle pressure well hence Egypt scored the 2 goals and almost had more.

The Samba boys better dance carefully and more aggressive! The opponents are warm-blooded, young, aggressive and have nothing to lose against the Samba boys! By the way!, watch out for my brothers from Africa with protruding muscles, speedy, aggressiveness like a lioness and yearn for a bright future in football!

This is going to be an interesting and entertaining Olympic football! Don't blink!!

Whole New World

Summer is here and people are getting married like there is no tomorrow! I am surprised because of my Kenyan culture in which having finished college allows you to get a job and get settled before you think of getting married. Boys have to prepare to work hard after college and be ready to pay the dowry. Marriage is cool so long someone is sure they can handle life as someone's husband or wife.

Questions are there to ask when you see young people tying knots. What's the main motive for getting married? How prepared are they to be married? Are they relying on HOPE, that things will workout well or they are ready for a whole new life? It sucks to talk about the U.S divorce rate but it's too high to be ignored. I hope young people are getting married to last but not to learn a lesson. A sweet marriage only happens once!

I love getting introduced into a new culture, living in it, learning from it, and supplementing my Kenyan culture with it. Honestly, the new culture has enabled me to appreciate my culture even more. Sometimes you don't learn to appreciate what you have until you encounter something new.

I am for the marriage and one day when I'm ready and with God's timing, I will tie the knot! Hello my fellow youth! Please make sure you understand what LOVE really is before you get married. I hope many of us aren't rushing marriage to regret later. I am still studying LOVE and I will let her know when I am ready. Oh well, it's summer time and the weather is warm for weddings!

It's not that I am confused, but I am intrigued and flabbergasted!! For sure I am in a whole new world that I like and respect.

Footballer on 2 Wheels!

God is the source of all talents and gifts! I am lucky to have been playing soccer since age 5 and plans on playing till old age! Through soccer I have achieved a lot and my future looks bright because of it. Why not see someone else develop and change another person's life through soccer? For this to happen I need to work, work really hard and prayers will be highly appreciated.

Football is very big in Africa but without education, only very few can benefit from it. Therefore there is need to see football and education grow together simultaneously.  Soccer is overwhelmed by Basketball, football and Lacrosse here in the US. Each one of these countries, need soccer and education, and what if they worked together and each country gets whatever it needs. You may say US doesn't need soccer, but it does because not everyone in the country can play football, basketball or Lacrosse. Africa needs education for sure!

I am blessed with a bicycle and I have been using it to start my Soccer&Education4US&Kenya Project! As the US is learning soccer, many would go to school in Kenya. My bicycle has taken me to several offices  for meetings with motivating people. I am not sure how many more miles I need to ride for this project to become a success. Only God knows how this is gonna work out and my effort plus your contribution plays a big role. As long my bike stays "healthy" and the ball rolling, many will learn and satisfaction will be expressed.

Stay tuned in for more on this project on MY BLOG, TWITTER & FACEBOOK!

Do you have anything to say?

All about Spanish Football

Euro 2012 was very interesting! Few people thought Spain would retain the silverware. Some called Spain, new team, inexperienced, BORING??, and unpredictable. Spanish football proved to be exquisite and they are the King of football in the entire globe!! Casilla, Xavi and Iniesta as usual were pure geniuses while Jordi Alba was the new kid everyone was and left talking about. How about the legend, Fernardo Torres!! He neither needed lots of playing time nor many goals to win the golden boot. Spanish team was soooo good it made Torres look like a pure genius by doing less to earn gold! You might say teams like France, Dutch, Germany, Portugal and Italy have a bright future, but dont forget Spain still has Pique, De Gea, Cesc, Jordi Alba, Juan Mata and Villa, all whom seem to have what it takes to continue Spanish dominance in football.

I won't be surprised if Spain keeps on dominating the world football with their sexy style of playing which leaves the opponent lost like a minute grain in the sand. In every game, the Spaniards made the opponent look bad, ask Italy and France!! It will take quite a lot for someone to come up with a style of playing that beats the Spanish Sexy Style (Triple 'S')

I'm a passionate footballer, and Spanish football has proved that football requires more brain than muscles! Brain is for efficiency and toughness, while muscles are just for fierceness! Kudos Spain and keep the world talking about and loving your style of football ;)

EURO 2012 is Heating up!!

As the end nears, the Euro 12 becomes more interesting and tougher. We saw some upsets of the Dutch and maybe France and Russia who had a point to proof. We saw some surprises by the Greece and new Spain whom not many thought would make it this far.  Spain was questionable due to many changes from the previous Euro and World cup winning squads. They also lacked some key guys who would pose a great threat to defenders upfront, for instance David Villa.

Portugal and Spain will be an interesting game!! The last time these two teams played, Portugal demolished the World Champions-Spain-by 4 goals to 1!! In that game each team had its best squad but Portugal outclassed Spain. In this tournament, Spain has been excellent so far playing relaxed and well crafted football. Unfortunately some people see it as Boring football. Really??? Portugal has hustled their way through into the semi finals and their best player seem to have picked up the pace and urgency. The Flashy and Menace Cristano Ronaldo might be a really tough task for Spain. Portugal just like Spain is playing really well as a team, ask the Dutch!! It'll be a really competitive match but I think Portugal wants it more than Spain, however, Spain seems to be on historical mission, defending the Euro trophy to keep company the World cup trophy in the cabinet.

Germany Vs Italy!!! Two great teams and whoever wins between these two will win it all!! Each team have some key players to rely on for big GOALS and plays!! Germany has Klose, Neuer and Podolski while Italy has Buffon, Pirlo and Balotelli. Both teams are well rounded, from defense through midfield to attacking. After beating England in the penalty shout-out, Italy looks the favorite to make it to the finals. Germany beat Greece but not without Greece fighting back. Germany better work on their defense because the Italian attackers are hungry for goals. Watch out for Mario because he wouldn't wanna ask "why me?", if he misses several scoring chances.  Germany would have more days of rest, so they might be ready to give it all!! Sorry to say they might be a little rusty. Another tough game but I think Italy is more prepared for it than Germany.

Don't miss the EURO 12 Hot and very competitive semi finals on ESPN!! Who do you think will make it to the Finals? :)

Trip Maine 2012

My friend was tying the knot on the other side of America, Maine state. The state is quite far north and unique in several ways. I went at the right time when the weather was great, warm at day time and cool at night. We had bonfire for 4 consecutive nights, something I haven't done at all for the few years I have been in the U.S.  I was thankful to be in Maine, because it felt like a vacation, peace of mind, sharing testimonies with great friends like Ryan and Danni Mcfee (great couple). The parents of the bride were great company to spend time with.  The weather was the best part for me. U.S is an extreme world but I just realized how a place afar can be precious.

Some great things about Maine were: simple way of life, stress-free weather, quiet, spacious, organic food and hospitable people.  If you have a friend there, it would be a nice place for summer vacation because it's away from crazy urban life, has kind people, nice summer weather, enough quiet room to roam around and green is precious (forests)

Maine is a wonderful place, but a few weaknesses.  Isolation for sure since it's on the other side of America. Very few people and with so many trees in huge forests.  There weren't many people to mingle with but the few present made the time precious.  I saw more dead animals than live ones. Eww!

My best part in Maine was being in my friend's wedding. It was one of the simple, sincere and love-filled weddings I have been in or to. May God bless Lucas and Rebecca Grudda's marriage. Maybe I should get married soon (4yrs) :)

Single-aspiring Ladies, can you buy this? I am simple, God-fearing, honest, respectful, fun, sporty, soccer player/coach and you might think I'm handsome. ;)

Make life FUN as much as YOU can!!!! #YOLO

EURO 2012 Futbol Tourney

No more waiting! The major football tournament in Europe kicks off tomorrow, hosts Ukraine and Poland. Europe is arguably the king of football and it has the most powerful and prominent professional teams in the globe. Players from different European countries will do whatever it takes to patriotically represent their countries.

EURO 2012 will hardly have underdogs because almost every team has developed in football in the last few years.  Most teams know each other pretty well so the competition will be really stiff and surprisingly some football powerhouse will be upset by the "underdogs." Spain will be the defending champion but I don't see her successfully defending the trophy.

Some well established teams will be out to make a HUGE mark and probably win the entire tourney.  Some of these giants are Germany, Netherlands, Spain and England.  Some upcoming and young teams like France, Italy, Ukraine, Russia and Portugal, will try to prove a point but mostly show what their football future looks like. Every team has a weapon (key player) but football is a team game so the supporting cast has to facilitate the progress of the team in the EURO 2012.

It's hard for me to make a prediction of who will win it all, but I have a few teams that I greatly feel have a good shot at winning it ALL! France is upcoming, young, skillful and with a lot of fury.  Spain is skillful, well experienced and plays "SEXY FOOTBALL." Netherlands is quality, very experienced and reminisces on the previous WORLD CUP FINAL 2010 loss against Spain.   Teams like Croatia, Ukraine, Poland and Russia will be in it to cause upset but I don't see any of them taking the silverware home!

My EURO 2012 winner will be, France or Netherlands or Germany or Portugal. Fingers crossed because it is going to be a hot, really competitive and fun EURO 2012. ENJOY the beautiful game of Football!!!!

All games live on ESPN!! I can also give you a link to watch for free. JUST ASK FOR IT! :)

Lame or Legit

Usain Bolt is one of the best sprinters the world have ever seen. He is often on the news for the great achievements on the track, but this time round he has raised eyebrows.  After being with his girlfriend for 6 months, he realized the gold means more to him than a woman.  I wonder the purpose of a woman in a man's life. Is she there to distract or support and enhance chances of success? It's so unfortunate this young lady had to be dumped by a superstar and now the whole globe knows it.

After ditching her, how long would it take for him to get over it? Whether he wins or loses in the Olympics a certain  reporter will for sure ask the impact of dumping her prior to the big event.  Bolt will be a double winner if he wins a medal (s) because he will seem to have made a wise decision by dumping his girlfriend.  If he doesn't ran fast enough and fail to win, he will for sure be a sole loser.

A gold is just an object-a precious object though-only held by a few in the entire globe, but a woman is a living being whom many young men strive to find the best one to compliment and enhance their life, but not to distract and cause failure.  I don't know why Bolt never thought Lubica Slovak would enhance his chances of winning gold but the reason he gave to the press was that she might be a distraction.  LAME excuse!

Bolt is a star and can ran fast so getting another woman might be easier but I feel like he tainted the role of a woman in a man's life.  This Tip Of Advice goes to all his fans and especially young men who look up to him as a role model.  Women ought to be respected and make sure you get a lady whom you view as a compliment to your life but not a distraction. Legit! Ain't it?

I admire Bolt but I feel sorry for Lubica Slovak. Move on Slovak and you will find a better man than Bolt. Make sure you are a compliment to another man but not a "distraction." (Bolts opinion)

You may ran fast but someday you will slow down and see the real purpose of life and what it entails :) Life  > Gold.

Check this out!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/olympics/article-2142804/LONDON-2012-OLYMPICS-Usain-Bolt-dumps-girlfriend-focus-Games.html

Real Men Needed! :)

Most young men die to get married some day, and enjoy all the goodies a woman can offer.  Women deserve respect and princess-like treatment and sometimes they make it worse for man who doesn't know exactly how to treat them (women).  Hello young man!, you might have wondered and wandered looking for help on how to make yourself worthy of the woman who makes your heart miss a beat. That woman makes heart-attack symbolize love to you:)
Women demands a lot that means you have to be prepared to win her heart and sustain it. As a man you may not have a clue of how to effectively win and sustain a woman as along as you want (till death).

Honestly, I don't have one yet but listening to speakers like Dr. Myles Munroe helps prepare myself for that one special lady who will see what other pretty women don't see in me haha She will make moonlight provide enough warmth even though that's not the reality. Love is crazy!! haha

Unwrapping the Real Rap!

Rap music can either be annoying or catchy. Mostly rap music keeps you nodding your head, full engagement.  Unfortunately most rap artists are young and lacks enough life experience to rap about.  Sometimes you can't really tell what a particular rap music is all about because the artist is uttering words at a NASCAR/SAFARI Rally speed.  Some rap music has more curse words than encouraging words or anything else valuable.

It might be the right time for the older generation to come out and start rapping about life because they have seen a lot and can sort it out perfectly for the younger generation. If you can rap, come out and  save the tarnished rap music despite the age. This only applies to the older people. Old is precious and it's about time we get the real deal from the Old Folks.

The video clip below summarizes my whole point. Check it out young people! The real Rap unwrapped after 8 decades. You will love it :) :) Thanks A.G.T!

I don't always listen to rap music but when I do, Lacrea has just what I need :) Big ups Lecrae!

Family and Sports

Just recently we celebrated the biggest day to the most special people behind our appearance in this world.  The MOTHER'S DAY helps bring a family together and also reminds the significance of one member of the family.  No matter what one does in life, the family should take the top rank because sometimes we might lose what out hearts desire the most and our family would be there to help us recover.  As far as the family goes, as an individual one matters more than what they do. I've been playing soccer since birth and I know how sucky it feels to lose after pouring out all you got on the field.

In most cases it goes like this, father/mother being there for their children but rarely does go that the children being there for their parents.  CARE AND LOVE AT THEIR BEST!! Check out the the link below! Tell me if this not precious!!

The Hunt is ON!

Graduating from college is a great accomplishment and one is certain of what to do in the future.  The way to doing whatever you want isn't guaranteed or easy to find.  It becomes a job to hunt for jobs and that's mostly what's in the head of a college graduate.  It's fun when you receive an encouraging email from the potential employer.  It is discouraging when you receive a decline of your job application.  You have to be ready to deal with the previously mentioned states.  All it takes to get a job is positiveness, hard work and perseverance. I have had no choice but apply those key features in getting a job.

I have learnt that you have to be ready because once you apply for a job you can get a phone interview, office interview or request for the resume. READINESS is key in the job hunt.  Phone interview is the most tricky of the three because someone just calls and asks to know about you. It is not easy to be presentable in a flash but you have to relax and honestly say what you think the employer wants to hear about you. Always live looking for jobs knowing who you really are and whom the employer would want you to be.

I thought college was tough but actually searching for jobs is even tougher.  You gotta be ready! The real life ain't for the unready, lazy and impatient.  Now I know what most the older people have gone through!! It's my time to fight for the better of my future and hopefully all goes well.

I am almost charismatic, hard working, honest, trustworthy, God-fearing and ready TO WORK. Are you HIRING? :)

Hug Power

Have you ever wondered why its always good to hug someone? A hug provides relief, warmth and sometimes a can of soda. Check out the link below :) Coke has gone to the extreme in marketing their products and I wonder how long this project would last. I like the strategic location of this project, at a university where one can get a large number of people to derive huge results. I think this is a smart move!!!

Perseverance > Magic

Letter to my sponsor from Kenya to the USA for college. I'll never forget year 2008 when I was seeking money to pay for the airfare to the US to attend BETHEL COLLEGE. :)

Dear Mr & Mrs Spindler

4 yrs ago I got an opportunity to attend college in the US. I didn't have enough funds to pay for my air ticket from Nairobi to the USA. I came to your company offices one week after sending a letter seeking sponsorship.  It wasn't easy to get a hold of the top management because it was a busy season but I persevered and eventually had a chance to talk to Mr & Mrs Spindler.
Meeting the two of you was the most precious moment of my life because not many significant CEO have time for strangers. After a short interview with the two of you, you accepted to pay three-quarter of my air fare to the USA for college.

I needed KSHS140,000 and I was only personally able to raise KSHS40,000. I prayed and hoped someone would pay for the rest of my airfare. Guess what!, your company agreed to pay KSHS100,000 :) It was in-explainable, I was joyful and grateful.

After 4 yrs at Bethel College in the USA, I have graduated with two degrees. I did two majors and earned Business Administration and Accounting.  I hope to use these two degrees to develop my life and other peoples'.

I thanks God, my Mom, Redlands Roses and a few friends who made it happen. I came to the US to study and play soccer for the college. Not only have I got two degrees but also my football skills have improved a lot.  Nothing pays well than prayers and hard work.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! I never saw it coming but I was hopeful God was going to use you. I persevered seeking for your help and eventually it paid off.

Sincerely

Hesbon Mwangi
